$10 DIY T-Handle
http://myachillesrupture.com - I enjoy good gear, but I also enjoy saving money on gear that meets my needs. This vid was inspired by one of my favorite authors and overall lifehacker extraordinaire, Tim Ferriss. The reference url for this project comes from http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/tim-ferriss-superhuman-kettlebell.htm as well as the book, The Four Hour Body [http://is.gd/4TYJ8w <--affiliate link].
This simple DIY project can assist anyone in the later (1yr and beyond....) recovery stages of an Achilles Tendon Rupture. Be sure to take it easy and concentrate on good form. Don't worry about heavy weights here.
Here is the parts list from the above url:
-One 3/4" diameter X 12" long pipe nipple for the vertical shaft. A "pipe nipple" is a short pipe threaded on both ends with male pipe thread
-Two 3/4" diameter X 4" long pipe nipples for handles
-One 3/4" diameter pipe "T" fitting
-One 3/4" floor flange
-Optional But Suggested: One spring clamp (suggestion - Irwin Quick-Grip 1") to keep plates from drifting up at the top of the swing.
